John & Kent Robbins spent decades building their
Double Fork Red Angus Herd, John was a two term RAAA
President and had a major impact on the breed and the
Association. The Robbins Family has won countless Awards for
their
service and contribution to the Red Angus Breed.
John passed away in 2003 and the Double Fork Herd was
purchased by Miller's Rose Ranch, LLC where Kent was the
Ranch Manager. These
outstanding Bulls have turned our Commercial Herd around
and have given us top prices on our calves. Our
weaning weights grew and the over all quality of our
Commercial herd has grown with keeping 250 of our top
end Heifers calves each year as replacements. In
2004, Miller's Rose Ranch, LLC purchased a share of the
Record Setting Bull, Major League and our Major League
Daughters are proving to be very beneficial to our
program.
Sherry was the
Horse Manager for Miller's Rose Ranch
and put together 60 broodmares and 5
Stallions for the Ranch which included
own Sons of Colonel Freckles, Smart Chic
Olena, Color Me
Smart and Lindsay Peake, along with
running their own brood mare band and
stallions. Their aim was to
produce good quality horses which could
be used on the Ranch or in the Arena.
Soon they began producing their own
Annual Horse Sale which continued to
grow with each year.
